Absences due to the death of family members
Absence of worker justified by death of relatives or similar.
The worker may be absent:
Up to 5 consecutive days due to the death of an unmarried spouse, a person living in a de facto union or common economy with the worker, a relative or similar in the first degree of the straight line (parents, in-laws, children and adoptees);
Up to 2 consecutive days due to the death of another relative or similar in the straight line (grandparents, great-grandparents, grandchildren, great-grandchildren ...) or in the second degree of the collateral line (brothers, brothers-in-law).
Mandatory reporting to the public employer as soon as possible;
Presentation of evidence of the facts invoked for justification, whenever requested by the public employer, within the following 15 days..
